The Lodge
The modern rustic cottage at Cairn Creek sits within a newly built barndominium-style home surrounded by the Ouachita Mountains. Enjoy the peacefulness of the woods and water with all the amenities you love!
The expansive front porch provides ample seating and beautiful views with room for outdoor dining. Or, enjoy the front courtyard and firepit, with plenty of wood provided, and comfy chairs outfitted with cozy blankets in cooler weather. Yard games are available and the firepit includes a grill top for outdoor cooking or s’mores.
The living room seats 4 comfortably with a full size sofa and two reclining chairs. You can watch your favorite shows and movies on the a 42-inch smart TV with high-speed wi-fi and your favorite streaming services. We also have plenty of books and games for guests to enjoy.
The cottage boasts a gourmet kitchen fit for any home chef with all cookware, bakeware, dishes/glassware, and utensils provided. The large, French door refrigerator provides plenty of grocery storage for your stay. The 5-burner gas range offers multiple options for creative cooks including a cast iron grill/griddle. The center island provides extra prep space or seats up to 4 for breakfast, a quick bite, or a glass of wine. The antique oak dining table seats 6 and begs for shared meals and conversation. Table linens are available for special occasions! Coffee, tea, water, snacks, and continental breakfast items are provided.
Both bedrooms are equipped with NEW! queen-size mattresses with added pillow-top covers for a firm, but cozy feel. Microfiber sheets will keep you cool and comfortable while down alternative blankets and duvets let you layer on just the right amount of warmth for a restful night’s sleep. Vintage quilts add pops of color and whimsy and take you back to a simpler time. Both bedrooms have a clothes valet and dresser or nightstands with lamps and charging stations for phones and tech for added convenience.
The bathroom includes a large vanity with granite top and a tub/shower with oversized tub for soaking. Basic toiletries, hair dryer, and bath linens are provided. Laundry is available upon request.
